Early Bird Program

Children in both the Early Childhood and Elementary Programs may be dropped off after 7:45 am at no additional cost.  If you need care prior to 7:45 am, Early Bird care is available beginning at 7:30am.

After School Program

Our After School Program provides a time for fun, friendship and creativity long after the school day has ended.  The After School Program at Princeton Junior School is designed to provide care for our Toddlers – Grade 5 students until 6pm.  This program embraces the mission of Princeton Junior School to nurture and challenge students within our learning community.  During after school hours, new friendships are formed.  From our youngest learners to our school leaders, children have much to gain from interacting with their peers across grade levels.

Afternoon Program for Toddlers and Preschoolers

The Afternoon Program is designed as a supplement for the children in our half-day early childhood program, ages 2-5. The Afternoon Program includes a lunch period and rest time, as well as time for children to work on small group and individual projects. This program is tailored to each individual child’s needs. Children who require an afternoon nap are allowed the time to sleep and recharge for the rest of their day. Children who require a short rest period are able to work in a small group atmosphere on projects that include storytelling, book making, hands-on art projects and outdoor explorations. Pick-up for the Afternoon Program is at 2:45pm. Parents may opt to have their child(ren) join the PJS Afterschool Program after 2:45pm.

Please contact Dina Kunkle, Afternoon Program Teacher, dkunkle@princetonjuniorschool.org with any questions about this program.

Early Childhood Aftercare

Our early childhood aftercare begins at 2:45 pm each day.  Children are provided a snack as well as indoor and outdoor activities.  At 4pm, children join the Elementary After School program with our older students.

Elementary Aftercare

Princeton Junior School’s Aftercare provides balance to your child’s day.  Our teachers create an environment where children can engage in imaginative play, creative expression and movement through games.  After working hard in class, children are given plenty of time to unwind through outdoor play and choice activities.

Vacation Program
