Announcing the PJS Performing Arts Program

With the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year, Princeton Junior School will be launching the PJS Performing Arts Program (PAP).  Ms. Swartley will be teaching our performing arts classes, also known as "music classes".  PAP will be integrated with core subjects in a similar manner as our Learning Through Landscapes (LTL) and Windows to the World (WTW) programs.  All of these programs encourage collaboration between our teachers and they serve as enriching experiences for our students.

As part of our new Performing Arts Program, Ms. Swartley will also direct a MUSICAL for PJS students in grades 1-5! Musical participants will meet during the after school hours as a "Theater Club" of sorts. The PJS Musical production process will take place during the winter months beginning in January, immediately following winter break.  The final performance will occur before spring break. Students will potentially meet after school 2-3 times a week, with practices increasing in frequency in the last weeks before the performance.

We look forward to a fulfilling adventure with our new PJS Performing Arts program next year!
