Thanks and Giving at Princeton Junior School

Preparations are underway for our annual Thanksgiving celebration that will be held on November 18th.

Students in the Glitter Lemonade Club have decorated boxes that are in the Commons waiting to be filled with food donations for Mercer Street Friends, a local organization that helps to feed our neighbors who are in need this holiday season.

The PJS Soup Dads will meet in the Well on Thursday, November 17th at 5:30pm to prepare their famous turkey noodle and vegetarian soups that will be served in classrooms prior to the Thanksgiving Program on Friday, November 18th.  If you would like to lend a hand, email Rafael at Rafa.Juan@gmail.com.

Next week, Christine Zeppenfeld's Learning through Landscapes classes will begin baking a variety of seasonal breads (made with grains grown in the PJS garden) to accompany the Thanksgiving soup.  The aroma will permeate the schoolhouse all week, and stomachs will rumble!

Families and friends of PJS are encouraged to gather in the Commons on Friday, November 18th at 10:30am to enjoy class presentations and performances that reflect the spirit of thanks and giving.
