Lost and Found 

Last call for Lost and Found.  Please take a look at some lost items--do you recognize any?  Items are currently in the library for pick up. Not all items are pictured here, so if you are missing something you may want to come in and look.  We're sorry to say that Items not picked up by June 29 will be donated to a local organization.

PJS was treated to a story-telling extravaganza this week. Grades 2 and 3 shared important stories from their hearts.  Congratulations on a job well done!

Grade 4 created and shared the Museum of the Complex Universe!  

Please remember to clean out your child's cubby or locker by WEDNESDAY, June 13.  We will be cleaning thoroughly, so even if your child is coming back the next week for Vacation Program, please empty their space. 

Saturday, June 9: Family Movie Night at PJS!  Madagascar 3 will start at 8:00pm. Snacks and soft drinks available for purchase. $5 per person or $20 per family.  All children need to be accompanied by an adult. 

Wednesday, June 13 is Graduation Day.   ECP will graduate at 10:30am.  Please park on the lawn.  The Ceremony will be under one hour, with refreshments in the classroom afterward.  We look forward to this special time to recognize our youngest students.  Grades K-5 will graduate at 6:00pm.  Please arrive promptly, as the gates will close at 6:00.  Cars will be directed to park on the lawn.  Please drop your child off in the classroom before graduation.  Pick-up is in the classroom afterward.  We will have refreshments following the ceremony. 

Choir students will preform at both graduations. For the morning performance please have your child wear a white shirt and dark bottom (black or dark blue pants or skirt).  For the evening performance, please dress up.

Wednesday, June 13. School closes at 12:00. There is no aftercare on this afternoon, or on June 14 or 15th.  Vacation Program begins on 18th.

Summer Music Lessons: Please email Ms. Swartley at sswartley@princetonjuniorschool.org if you are interested in having your child do summer instrumental lessons as soon as possible.

June 2: FUNDRAISING EVENT for PJS Performing Arts Program. Ms. Swartley's Band, The Raising River Band, will perform from 7-9 pm at PJS.  Adult only event.  Due to weather, please try to carpool to limit the number of cars parked on the lawn.

June 6: Splash Day ECP/K

June 7: You are cordially invited to the Grade 2/3 Storytelling Celebration on Thursday, June 7, 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the PJS Commons.

June 8: Faculty/Student kickball game. Wear your spirit wear!

June 9: Movie Night 8:00 p.m. Madagascar. Sign up here.

June 11: Final All School Gathering: Reflections on the Year, 9 a.m. 

June 13: ECP Graduation 10:30 am; Graduation K-5 6:00 pm.   Last Day of School.  Noon dismissal for all. No Afterschool Care. 

June 14, 15: Staff in-service. No vacation program.

June 18-29: Vacation program in session.

Grade 5 Exhibition: Friday, May 25, the Grade 5 students advocated for a cause they truly care about in the The Grade 5 Exhibition.  Students presented research from a variety of sources including personal interviews from experts in their field of study.  Some of the topics presented today were: animal rights, hunger, poverty, women's rights, cosmetic testing, racial profiling, and protecting the planet. The Grade 5 Exhibition is an exercise in student empowerment and the culminating activity of the year.
